Hello! I’m Kathleen, the creative and slightly annoyed woman from the story. I’m also the founder and resident crafter of Global Gumnuts & Nursery. That first mobile was back in 2016. I dabbled for a while, making them as more of a hobby and as a way to prevent rolling my ankle on those nuisances. Just last year I decided to give it a real go. Things have been in full swing ever since!

Inspired by my own little ones, I have since expanded the range of baubles and playthings to include loose parts, education resources, etc, such as those you would use in the Reggio Emilia Approach. I also find inspiration in the natural materials themselves; there’s just something about the raw material I find so beautiful. So, many of my products are left unfinished to highlight their natural beauty.
