Athara Bee Light uses only the highest quality beeswax sourced directly from the family’s apiary in the Great Southern Region of WA.
These candles have a wonderful natural scent that comes from the natural honey that the wax contains.
Each candle measures approximately 4.5cm tall (plus wick) by 4cm wide at the base.
*Approximate burn time of 5-7 hours.
In an effort to keep these candles eco-friendly, I use natural cotton wicks and 100% Pure Beeswax with no additives.
Beeswax burns longer, cleaner, and brighter than any other wax. Beeswax candles are allergy friendly, release negative ions which help clean the air, and produce no black smoke as seen in other wax types.
As candles are handmade, there may be some variation from the candles shown in picture.

Total burn time 3-4 hours
Trim wick
Always keep your wick trimmed to about 0.5cm at all times. Extinguish flame, carefully trim and re-light if required.
Caution - Safety Tips
To safely burn and enjoy your Candle, use extreme care when burning candle. Keep away from draughts and flammable materials. Never leave burning candles unattended and keep out of reach from children. Do not burn candles without adequate overhead clearance. Do not burn candles down to the base. Always place candle on a stable fire resistant surface that will collect the wax.
The first burn of a candle is the most important
Candles should burn one hour for every 20-30mm in width of the actual candle. If a candle is not burned for long enough to allow the wax to liquefy or to melt from edge to edge, it will create a “memory ring.” Once a candle has a “memory ring,” it will continue to tunnel for the life of the candle.
Recommended First Burning Times
This is only a guide, times will vary due to wick length and candle environment. Please follow safety instructions.
